DODGE ZEO
Breaking the paradigm of what an electric car should look like, the
‘08 Dodge ZEO (Zero Emissions Operation) concept is a muscular 2+2
sports wagon, with stunning performance numbers.
The propulsion system is electric-only with a 64 kilowatt-hour
lithium-ion battery pack capable of at least 250 miles. Resting in a
rear-wheel drive layout, the single-electric motor creates 200
kilowatt (268 horsepower), and zips from 0-to-0-60 mph in less than
six seconds, which rivals Dodge’s HEMI engine.

Audi R8
V12 TDI
Panache at 500 HP
Power for the concept comes from the automakers race-derived 6.0
liter V12 diesel motor. The engine produces 500 horsepower and
738 pound-feet of torque.
Zero-to-sixty in 4.2 seconds and the R8 V12 should have a top end of
around 186 mph. (Premiered at Detroit Auto Show 2008)

Scion xB
The econobox design has ignited a lot of heat in the aftermarket
customization community! Toyota (Scion's parent) has responded
with increasingly modified models that give the buyers a great
opportunity to buy a custom set of wheels . . . without a lot of
extra effort or tinkering.
(Or at least they've provide a 'way cool' starting point!)

BUICK RIVIERA (Premiered
'08 Chicago)
A stunning concept coupe that reflects Buick's new global design
direction. The carbon fiber body features a trihedral waterfall
grille, gull-wing doors, Formula One styled side mirrors and
top-mounted chrome portholes. The prototype Riviera sits on 21-inch,
10-spoke forged aluminum wheels with low-profile tires, and the
powertrain is engineered to accommodate a hybrid propulsion system.

HUMMER
HX:
The HX is more compact than a Hummer H3, and offers an open-air,
two-door configuration. Truly an off-road vehicle that packs
that off-road acumen that made Hummer famous. Its design is based on
the ideas developed by a trio of young designers who are new to the
Hummer studio. |
